Rožmberk nad Vltavou
This town is inherently linked with a major aristocratic family of the Rožmberks. Situated on the banks of the River Vltava with romantic meanders, it is one of the biggest tourist attractions in South Bohemia. The historical heart of the town is a world-famous town heritage zone where numerous corners still breathe out the atmosphere of the Czech Kings meaning that Rožmberk is not only a town of boaters, but also a site sought by history enthusiasts. The town is dominated by the Rožmberk Castle that is amongst the oldest structures of its kind in this country.
