Family-run guest house Pod Lipou

Our family-run guest house offers accommodation in comfortable two-, three- and four-bed rooms equipped with SAT TV, WIFI and private social facilities.

Our restaurant with a summer garden is also here to invite you to spend nice moments. We serve traditional Czech meals and fresh-made specialties - including the top one - steaks prepared on stones. Pets are welcome.  The guest house has its own parking facility.

You can find us in the municipality of Loučovice.  With its excellent location, Loučovice has the best of Lipno Region available within reach. Only 3 kilometres from the guest house, you can find the famous national nature reserve called Čertova stěna - Luč with its “sea of stones”. If you continue just 2 km away, there is the town of Vyšší Brod with a fascinating Cistercian monastery and a postal museum featuring vintage postal carriages. Additional 10 kilometres away there is the beautiful historical town of Rožmberk with a castle of the same name towering above the River Vltava. Going three kilometres to the other side from the guest house there is the dam of Lipno and - along with it - Kramolín - a modern ski resort for families with children where you will find not only tracks for cross-country skiing, but - in particular - 12 kilometres of groomed slopes with several cableways. The castle of the highest elevation in Bohemia - Vítkův hrádek - providing a fantastic view of the Alps is located just 20 minutes by car from our guest house.
